You May Be Here Because...

You’ve done the work—you’re high-functioning and ambitious—but still feel trapped in cycles of self-doubt and shame.

You’re seeking something deeper—a way to heal that gets to the root, not just the surface.

You’ve sensed that there’s more to life than the constant self-doubt, perfectionism, and striving for approval.

No matter how many external achievements you rack up, the feeling of lasting self-worth remains elusive.

You’ve tried self-help books and wellness trends, but lasting change feels out of reach

You’re tired of being overly critical of yourself, feeling anxious, or stuck in the same cycles

No matter what brought you here, you are here. And I'm so glad!

Does This Sound Like You?

You’re doing everything "right"—working hard, excelling in your career, being there for your loved ones, taking care of your body—but despite all your efforts, it still doesn’t feel like enough. You don’t feel like enough.

You keep adding new habits, practices, or goals, hoping this will be the thing that finally works.

But it doesn’t.

Instead, the self-criticism gets louder.

You’re not living up to your own expectations (no one can), and it feels like you’re falling short of what you want for yourself.

What if I Told You...

The constant striving, the self-criticism, and the feeling that you’re not enough—all of it makes sense.

The way you feel right now doesn’t mean there’s something fundamentally wrong with you. The pressure you place on yourself and the self-doubt that creeps in are signals, pointing to deeper areas that need care and attention.

These feelings of not being enough aren’t truths; they’re reflections of where your energy has been focused—on achieving more, rather than nurturing yourself.

There is another way. It begins by understanding that these struggles are not your fault but rather an opportunity to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Many of us carry a sense of not being enough—whether it's driven by perfectionism, self-doubt, or anxiety.

This course is designed to help you uncover the deeper issue behind these struggles: shame.

Shame often ties directly to our feelings of self-worth and belonging.

While it may have once acted as a way to protect you from rejection or failure, over time, it can distort how you view yourself and your relationships, leaving you feeling disconnected and unsure of your place.

If you've tried to address perfectionism, anxiety, or self-doubt before but found that the same patterns keep resurfacing, it could be because the deeper issue—shame—was left unaddressed.

This course offers an opportunity to dig beneath the surface and tackle the root cause.

Through a focus on self-compassion, you'll learn how to gently break the cycle of self-criticism that keeps you stuck.

Self-compassion can help you cultivate a sense of worth and belonging, not by changing who you are, but by helping you see that you are enough, just as you are.

From Shame to Self-Compassion is the Course I Wish I Could Have Offered My Clients Sooner

As a therapist, I’ve seen how shame can keep even the most ambitious, high-functioning individuals feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and disconnected from their true selves.

I created this course to share the insights I’ve gained over the years—on how to address shame and begin cultivating self-compassion.

While the journey is personal and unique for everyone, the tools and concepts in this course are designed to guide you through the process.

This self-guided course offers 5 engaging modules (plus a bonus module!), carefully structured to help you understand and work through shame, while building a foundation of self-compassion at your own pace. This course provides you with the knowledge and tools to move toward a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

This course is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment.

This Course Embodies the Knowledge I've Gained Through Years of Training...

From Shame to Self-Compassion brings together the extensive learnings I've been fortunate to receive through my master's degree in psychology, as well as my ongoing training in somatics, attachment theory, neurobiology, and mindfulness.

This course reflects years of studying how the mind, body, and emotions are interconnected—and how, when we understand and work with them, we can begin to heal from shame and cultivate self-compassion. It's designed to provide you with tools and insights to address shame on cognitive, emotional, and somatic levels, supporting you in creating meaningful change and developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Explore the 6 Modules

Module 1: Understanding Shame and the Self-Compassion Pathway

Your journey begins with an in-depth exploration of shame and its origins. You’ll learn where chronic shame comes from, how it affects your mind and body, and why self-compassion is the key to transforming it. This foundational module introduces The Self-Compassion Pathway, giving you the roadmap to address shame on cognitive, emotional, and somatic levels.

Module 2: Cognitive Clarity

This module guides you through the process of identifying and shifting the thoughts and beliefs that shame creates. By cultivating mindful awareness of shame-based thoughts, you’ll begin reframing these narratives and uncovering the limitations of purely cognitive work. Cognitive Clarity is the first step toward healing at a deeper level.

Module 3: Emotional Release

Healing shame requires emotional release. In this module, you’ll explore the universal experience of shame and why releasing stored emotions is vital for your transformation. Through inner child work and parts work, you’ll begin to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have carried shame for too long and cultivate compassion for all aspects of who you are.

Module 4: Shame and the Nervous System

Here, you’ll dive into the body’s response to shame and how it shows up physically. This module teaches somatic techniques to release the tension shame holds in the body, helping you stay grounded and regulated even when shame arises. You’ll learn practical somatic exercises to integrate into your daily life for long-term healing.

Module 5: Sustaining Self-Compassion

Healing shame is an ongoing process. This final module focuses on how to sustain self-compassion over the long term. You’ll learn about neuroplasticity, how repetition reinforces new patterns, and why setbacks are a normal part of the healing journey. By the end of this module, you’ll have the tools to maintain self-compassion and integrate the learnings from the course into everyday life.

BONUS Module: Relational Healing and Behavioral Change

This bonus module takes the learnings from the course and applies them to your relationships. You’ll explore how shame impacts connection and how to stop self-abandoning in relationships. Gain practical tools to set boundaries, reconnect with your authentic self, and foster healthier connections with others.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Emma, a therapist and human.

With a master’s degree in psychology and advanced training in cognitive, emotional, and somatic healing approaches, I’ve spent years studying how shame affects the mind, body, and emotions. My work draws on the latest research in neurobiology, attachment theory, and mindfulness, all grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed approach.

I’ve worked with many individuals who, despite being ambitious and high-functioning, find themselves stuck in cycles of self-doubt, perfectionism, and shame. I know how challenging it can feel to break free from these patterns and start feeling worthy just as you are.

In this course, I’m sharing the tools and insights that have been most impactful in helping my clients address shame, build self-compassion, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.

I want to be clear that while my experience as a therapist informs the content, this course is not a replacement for one-on-one therapy. This course is educational in nature and is not intended to replace therapy or counseling. Rather, it’s designed to provide you with practical tools to explore the roots of shame and begin creating meaningful change in your life. I’m here to guide you through this process by sharing my expertise and providing tools to help you cultivate a more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.
